England squad for the international friendly against Trinidad & Tobago:

    David James (Portsmouth)
    Joe Hart (Manchester City)
    Joe Lewis (Peterborough)
    Wayne Bridge (Chelsea)
    Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United)
    Phil Jagielka (Everton)
    Glen Johnson (Portsmouth)
    Stephen Warnock (Blackburn)
    David Wheater (Middlesbrough)
    Jonathan Woodgate (Tottenham)
    Gareth Barry (Aston Villa)
    David Beckham (LA Galaxy)
    David Bentley (Blackburn)
    Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough)
    Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
    Tom Huddlestone (Tottenham)
    Theo Walcott (Arsenal)
    Ashley Young (Aston Villa)
    Gabriel Agbonlahor (Aston Villa)
    Dean Ashton (West Ham)
    Peter Crouch (Liverpool)
    Jermain Defoe (Portsmouth)
Same number of peterborough players as Arsenal I see; though he is the best forward player in the squad.
Allez French national team 'ie arsenal'

Peter Crouch, from the looks of it. And with Rooney out, I think he should start if Capello intends on retaining a 442. He does need a foil though, someone like a Dean Ashton. Maybe another chance for Jermain Defoe?

Crouch and Defoe would work very well IMO, but I think Ashton deserves to play :s:

I think he was questioning Complex Simplicity's decision to brand Theo Walcott the best forward player in the squad :p: Or you could have known that but decided to avert the danger!

I hope he does play Crouch and Defoe. A little bit because I think they'll work well, a lot because I'm hoping Harry will be watching and they'll score a hat trick each and it'll convince him to ring up Rafa and seal a 10m deal for Crouch!

I left out the 'in 5 years time' lol

There's no doubt ashley young will start. It's also safe to say that if beckham starts then we can assume Capello sees him as being an important player for england's future.

What about Crouch and Barry linking up well? That could work two ways :p:

Good point! Ideal scenario: Crouch and Defoe link up well, Gerrard and Barry link up well, but not Crouch and Barry or Crouch and Gerrard. Then we'll sell Crouch and buy Barry and win the league! Hoorah!

I hadn't known that, but I'd have been well prepared to wade into danger :teeth:

I wonder about his reasoning behind bringing Ferdinand with him...

Maybe it means he is going to name him as full time captain. I hope its just because he's not as tired as the other CL players though :ninja:
