I officially want to marry Russell Brand

(Original post by That Bearded Man)
He is not far behind Fred, Keith Lemon and Jeffrey Donaldson as my most disliked people in the world I think.
I always thought that Russell Brand would have made an excellent Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. Not really related I know, but that's my only strong opinion about him really.

Spade, slope, … funny times. Can we still use English without being scorned? I really do not care about negative connotations of normal words and phrases. Actually, it might even be a good thing because if one is clever, he can express a lot without losing his guard.

Your reasoning skill are sublime.

That is a great example of misleading statistic usage and biased anecdotal evidence. Let us say the figure 41 per cent is correct, I do not object to that, but one must also consider the prevalence of such condition, which is around 0.003 per cent in general population. That is around 0.000012 of world population – the number of trans women who have attempted suicide at least once in their lives. Given the world population of 6.8 billion, the actual figure is 81,600. That is 81,600 cases of an attempted suicide in transgender women. Now, according to WHO, every year 800,000 people die from suicide. I rest my case.

Do you see how trivial your problems… actually, the whole transgender suicide rate problem is compared to the rest of the population? Especially considering that it is often caused by an HIV infection which is quite depressing and irrelevant to the societal acceptance of trans people.

As to the rule of normal/average people, have you even considered the possibility of those successful people being actually better than the rest? Or perhaps the fact that instead of *****ing around and organising protests, they work their arses off to get where they are? Other than the statistically much higher probability, of course.
I going to ignore your somewhat envious sounding post here and disagree with your points on a scientific basis.

Your argument implies that issues related to a minority should be ignored because of their small contribution numerically to the population.

Surely this means that the world shouldn't care about South Sudan, because it makes up such a small % of the worlds population? Surely NHS care to pensioners should be cut completely because as % go, the non-pensioners are a larger than the pensioners group.

Such a weird couple him and Katy Perry, from what I've heard on interview she isn't the brightest (on Norton with Cheryl Cole I think)

To be fair though I couldn't see him settling down with anyone so that he actually managed to be with Katy Perry was a surprise.

I'd agree there!

It's one of the few things me and my staunch socialist Uncle have in common (actually we have quite a bit in common, so get on really well, but this in particular) ... we both hate 80% of people on TV. These so called comedians etc.
In fact, the figure is probably up at about 90%. I've even gone off Stephen Fry, who I used to think was brilliant, and now I just find a bit self centred

He is one of the people on TV who I especially dislike precisely because of how self-centred he is.

Katy Perry couldn't see the kind of person that Russell Brand is, which most women probably could quite easily.

You will not be seeing Stephen Fry as much on tv next year as his beloved Norwich have been relegated, so no shots of him watching the Canaries on Match of the Day.

Tim Stanley. I follow him on twitter because I occasionally find him funny but whenever he's on QT I realise how much I dislike the fellow.
I can't imagine he says many funny things. He's one of my most disliked people I've seen on QT, certainly out of the non-political ones anyway. He's an arrogant, rabidly right wing, full of his own self importance, up himself tosser.

Yep, all round tosser. He's another one of those former lefties turned ultra right wing - he used to campaign for Labour as a matter of fact; now he writes for the Torygraph

I have noticed that there has been a return to a condition seen not since last year, at least in London. It is usually described as an inability to dress sensibly when the temperature is a little warmer than usual.

Tyrion Lannister, Bex 94 and the third stylish woman on TSR whose name I forget- where are you when we need you?

There is a light that never goes out. A new Morrissey album. Rejoice.

Sadly the world is unable to consciously uncouple itself from Coldplay as they have a new offering.

Been looking at a few vote matchers for the European Elections. Some of the questions on this one are a bit meh and I don't believe you can skip them (which can skew your result when you put you don't care) but it provides a full similarity list of every party, politician and grouping across Europe. Quite interesting to see what party I matched upto in some random nation

Joint Greens and Cymru but only on 56%. EU grouping I got GUE-NGL on 65%. Then got linked with some rather young looking pirate party/socialist members from Holland and Sweden. It appears my closest link across Europe is in Sweden with the Vänsterpartiet at 82% (runs off to do a wiki search).

I got S&D rather than GUE-NGL as my Euro grouping, then got matched to some Danish MEPs from the S&D and GUE-NGL groups.

80% of my views match with Conservative MEP Dan Sames.

73% of my views match with the English Democrats.

60% of my views match with ALDE (ECR and EPP both get 55%).

Much like UK party tests in the UK it seems to be saying that i'm of the right but not pinned to one party in policies.

90% Lewis Coyne (Green Party) was my highest MEP match, all the other high ones were also Greens (I don't know the other European ones so didn't pay much notice to them tbh)

got 70% GUE-NGL for the EU grouping and I don't quite know how but I got Plaid Cymru (67%) for UK parties just ahead of the Greens (60%) and Sinn Fein (59%)
