How're you doing TLG? I felt really bad for you when you posted before. I hope you're feeling better or at least have a treatment plan for recent events. :hugs:

Things are pretty bad tbh: being triggered left, right and centre by uni peeps, including the disability office staff  Not ideal. Am hiding indoors for the most part this week

Drs on Thursday for the first official time since moving back north at the end of may.

Contemplating asking for a lowered dose to taper off my meds as things in general are going much better for me now. But i dont know if theyll allow this as iv not been there before

Also gonna ask for more investigations regarding my PCOS because things that side arnt good

But other than that things are going good, im really enjoying work, and love my little flat and spending loads of time with my family. Including babysitting my nephew once a week which makes me super happy as he aways cheers me up!!

Found a job advert which is basically my ideal job that im currently filling in the application form for, but trying not to get my hopes up.

Went for a walk earlier as i live live 3 mins walk from the sea so walked down the prom, got chips and walked back and it was so nice, its the first time i did it since moving into this flat in July! And worked out once i got home it was 1.1 miles each way which is good and i didnt even really notice. Was just busy looking over the bay and at all the buildings! Though next time i may take headphones!!

    Hope everyones good!!

Hiding indoors can be good for weathering a storm. Don't feel bad about needing time for yourself.. :hugs: have you managed to contact your CPN or psychiatrist or anyone able to help you? Might it be worth asking for some anxiolytics to tide you over?

I spoke to my CPN very briefly yesterday (Tues). She was the duty nurse for the hospital that day, so technically they weren't meant to put me through but coz I said straight up that I'm in a crisis, they put me through anyway CPN was gonna try and get hold of psychologist. I have a routine appt with CPN Weds 21st morning anyway so will see her in a few hours. Routine psychiatrist's appointment Weds 28th.

I am hoping I'll be OK if I just stay put tbh. Not many bad things can happen if I just stay in bed

Ok. It sounds like you're doing the right things. I agree that staying in bed can be good. Hopefully your CPN will be able to suggest something/ help in someway. Maybe even move up your psychiatrist appointment?

I doubt she'd have time to see me any sooner tbh :emo: I'll ask my CPN what she thinks though, and whether an earlier appointment is needed/available

Thanks for the support - I appreciate it

The bit in bold; the first few weeks of 1st year will definitely be like that as they try and let everyone settle into new surroundings? People just look like they know what they're doing on the outside but on the inside, they'll probably be incredibly nervous too!

With the friends thing; are you living in student accomodation? Also societies are an absolutely brilliant way to meet new people and make friends - alot of the people I talk to regularly and socialise with outside of my flat are people I've met through them

Will you be able to cope at work though? Try and see someone ASAP, someone who has the necessary training to be able to help you. You can offload to us but there's little we can do in terms of practical things

    Try and stay safe
