I thought it was!! :yep: you won't get ripped to pieces with criticism but they do tell you things you way want to remove/add and they give you their opinion on it.
    (Original post by furryface12)
You don't have to actually do what they suggest, it's just another opinion, so just ask and there should be at least one useful thing comes out of it

So I got my predicted grades today: A*AA in maths, physics and economics which is what I expected so that's nice, but the school refused to predict me a grade in AS further maths?

    Personal statement officially done!

Got a question for you all - if I revised, took breaks but never went out of the house for parties and to socialise etc. last year and got BCD in bio, chem and maths - would going out with friends actually get me better grades?

No, learning in the correct way and not procrastinating and not having distractions like fb twitter phone etc.
Understanding is the key thing, make sure you ask your teacher what you do is correct, be able to apply it anywhere.

The amount of time you work is not nearly as important as how effective the work you do is. I really think people need to understand this before making promises to themselves. It's important to enjoy yourself outside of study time, but make your study time effective and productive.

The first few weeks are there to get you settled in so you probably won't have noticed any 'jumps'.

Homework's a pain, that's one of the benefits of self-studying!

Currently on my third. I suspect once I've done this one it will go through one or possibly two more before I'm finally done and dusted. Currently over the line limit on UCAS and I'm really not sure what I'm going to cut out - might have to be my EPQ because if I can't change my topic I'm going to drop it So confused about what to do.
