    I remember all that chat about not beating a big/rival team, after we beat you lot 2-0 coming from LFC fans as well. Guess you don't count. Great stuff!

    Seriously though, I know it's a glorified friendly, and City are basically playing a backup team, but any trophy - no matter how big or small - is good for the atmosphere around the club and the mentality of the players and clearing a bit of dust out of our trophy cabinet. So I'm not gonna complain. I'm happy.

    Debuchy already looks way more involved then Sagna was defensively. A few errors need to be ironed out though

    I've liked our back lines this pre season, would be interesting to see Monreal as a cb sometimes. Not that it should stop us getting a Verm replacement. Chambers has been impressive and Debuchy looks pretty solid.
