Going back to what we were speaking about yesterday, Jack really doesn't get enough credit. His role in the team means that he doesn't get all the glorious stats but he's heavily involved in the defence to attack transition. He really drives the team on and most of his play is direct. You'll see him turn towards goal when his team mates are passing sidewards. It's because of his direct play that he picks up a lot of injuries tbh. He runs at the defence and slips past them, inviting a challenge - more so a foul.

Shame his ankles are so weak

He should adapt his play then to become more efficient on the ball and utilise his chances.

He's not clinical enough when he does get into good positions and his passing is ok but nothing special for a central midfielder. He needs to look at Modric and model his game on the guy. Similar stature yet one is much more effective than the other.

That being said, I'll take an injury free Jack Wilshere and start him at Chelsea. You don't know who you've got in your team.

Right guys, nice to be back here after my time in the Band Camp.

Anyway, Monaco was an absolute shambles. Shambles. Mertesacker is a solid bench player now, nowhere else for him but the bench. Use him like they did at the WC, closing out games and sitting deep.

He's cost us in big games. That duck against Liverpool, the Monaco **** up. He is a liability these days.

hard to really see any upsets tonight..

Hope newcastle can suprise me though... or that liverpool can have one of those brain farts they used to have occasionally and go and throw a very winable game.

This should surprise a lot of people, but we've only won once at loftus road in the last 24 years in the league

Haha, odds are stacked against them today. Expecting a win but it will be nowhere near routine, QPR always push us to the limit.

Nah, he is cute, there is an endearing quality to him. It's nice how he is not afraid to cry, show his emotions, (it's quite cute, manly) and he refers to himself in third person. He's just a bit awkward really.

“I am arriving at a big club and the fans can expect to find a Gabriel with a great will to help everyone. Not just thinking of me as an individual, because to me that is not important."
“I care more about helping the team and my team-mates. I want to help everyone, so the fans can expect a Gabriel that on the field has a lot of will to be able to help the team win important things.”

    :cute: Cute.

How many years have QPR been in the PL though out of the last 24 years? According to this about 6 years out of the last 24 and 4 of those were before Wenger was in charge...

We haven't beaten MK Dons in the last 24 years in the PL, that's an even worse record

Wimbledon fans don't class MK Dons as Wimbledon and neither will I #FranchiseTeam #AFCWimbledon.
