We always play well against Cardiff for some reason :-S Gudjohnson has had an amazing 10 days. Fathering a child, scoring for Iceland and then 2 for us!
We made Heskey and Gudjohnson look like world beaters. Oh well, not surprising when we are managed by a dinosaur who has about as much tactical flexibility as your front two have in their legs.

Definitely. Such a shame what's happened to that club, too.

Dons have really struggled lately, I'd be gobsmacked if Preston didn't manage to gain automatic promotion.
We had been struggling but it's now 4 wins in a row so back on some kind of form.

The defeats to Coventry and Peterborough seemed to be the kind of thing to knock them off their perch, but they may be back on track judging by what you say. The loss of Afobe and Alli will have repercussions if they are to make it to the second tier, though.

In League One, you don't have to be good. You just have to be not as **** as anybody else.
Sadly we cannot manage even that simple task.

Incredible to think that of the 8 teams gunning for promotion to the premier league, 5 of them won't make it. Almost sad considering the quality of deadweight currently occupying places in the prem.

Get rid of the lot of them in the PL. I'd love an away day to the Riverside, Pride Park, Portman Road all over again. Let's roll back the years to 1999/00.

And even Highfield Road, seems a century ago that I was watching us draw against Arsenal there.

I'm going to Elland Road tomorrow for the game against Cardiff.

"Cardiff City Football Club were originally offered 1,000 tickets as part of a voucher to ticket exchange including a new escorted coach system for their family season ticket groups. This was rejected by Cardiff City who declined the 1,000 tickets offered.

After further consideration Leeds United offered Cardiff City Football Club 500 tickets with unrestricted travel.

Late on Wednesday April 8 Cardiff City notified Leeds United that they did not wish to take up the second offer of 500 tickets unescorted, and that no supporters would travel to Leeds for the Championship fixture at Elland Road."

Should be interesting, Leeds are urging as many supporters to attend as possible. We'll probably lose the game now.

We've been treated absolutely disgracefully by LUFC. We gave you lot 2000 tickets earlier in the season and there was no trouble, as there hasn't been for many years. I just hope we beat you like we have seemed to do with relative ease over the past few years.

You probably will, we can't ever beat Cardiff & have nothing to play for.

Also it wasn't Leeds United holding back on tickets (and even if it were, why boycott it? Sell out your allocation and make a point) it's West Yorkshire Police.

I know we'd take all our lot down

I'd been told it was a decision made by LUFC under the advisement of the police, either way its a bit of a pathetic situation. A lot of our fans are booking tickets in the Leeds stands anyway. We are boycotting because we should be allowed the same courtesy that we gave you and there is no reason why we shouldn't be allowed 2000 tickets. Our fans are less dangerous than our strikers and that's saying something

Big big win, they weren't great and it could have easily been 2-0 but for those two moments of brilliance. Pressure right back on the chasing pack.

I'm off to see us at the Bluenoses and their wonderful support.. gonna be a close game, but I'm feeling 0-1.

Fulham draw 2-2 with Wigan with a result that doesn't really help either side. Millwall have a decent chance, 9 points back with 2 games in hand on Brighton. They could make the last few games very interesting.

Let's be clear nobody in the West Midlands is winning the big crowd prize at the moment.

Never frequented there unfortunately. Been to the Ricoh once, though. Albeit for a Kings of Leon gig.

Highfield was the best thing the Sky Blues had after relegation by having a great stadium that they owned. Now the Ricoh is mostly empty and seems to spur the opposition (no disrespect to the smaller clubs in the division) in playing in such a high standard venue of PL standard.

I have gone to watch football at both, in "small" and "big" games and Highfield Road wins hands down. If Coventry actually owned the Ricoh then it would be a different story.

2-0 down t half time, conceded in like the 1st minute. We've had some good chances though and the play has been okay from all accounts, so there's still a chance we might get something out of this.
