I've just spent an hour making a map of the different buildings that I'll need in Sheffield on google maps :3 (NB - most of that time was deliberating over the most appropriate icon for each place -.-)

Just curious, but apart from religious restrictions why have you chosen not to drink?
I'm not religious, but I'm a firm believer in having a good time without having to be off your face, and being able to remember it all the next day :awesome: Plus it's kinder on my body, and my bank account.

What did you do as a non-drinker, when other people were going out to clubs and stuff? Did you just go along and not drink?

Poptarts (Saturday night, Octagon at the SU.) is amazing, even if you're completely sober. I personally feel theres something terribly wrong with downing Jägerbombs whilst singing along to Viva Forever by the Spice Girls...

Just an occasional drinker. Don't really go out drinking for a night out and have never been off my face - I seem to stay sober pretty well but not sure where my limit actually is.

Uni will be interesting, just hoping i'll find some other non-drinkers too! Don't mind people that drink loads, as long as they don't get too mental and in my face!

Rest of it is interesting though :yep:

especially the applications of genetics
Oh, genetics was fascinating, especially the gene therapy section. I also enjoyed the study of human biology at AS.

I'm in my first year at uni and don't drink and it's not a problem at all, it never was a problem at college but if it had been, it'd be even less so at uni! I was a little apprehensive before starting uni ..... but no one really cares at all. I still love just going out and having a good time with friends! There will be loads of people that don't drink at uni - lots more than you think and there's always lots of non-drinking events that unis organise for freshers week and the rest of the year if going out clubbing is not your thing.
