Lol, heterosexual new dad photos look like this too, if it's the skin-to-skin, baby/vagina juice and cringey weeping that's making people uncomfortable.
The only (potential) problem I have is that no matter how many mums or dads they may have, all babies have a birth mother. I feel there is a bond there that the baby can benefit from in infancy and as it grows up knowing that woman. One which shouldn't be erased unless really necessary. It's not an issue with the sexuality or gender of the parents (which is irrelevant), but with surrogacy, which in most cases seems to involve creating a child to be removed from its birth mother for your convenience/comfort as parents. I can't say I 100% approve of that, especially when I think there is the plausible (if unconventional) option of involving that woman (especially in the baby's infancy where she is most essential).
1) It doesn't really matter that there are other things biological parents/mothers do which are worse. "Someone's doing something worse" doesn't justify, only gives perspective.
2) Surrogacy is different to adoption. In the latter the new parents are making the best of a situation where the child has already been separated from its mother for a good or unavoidable reason. In surrogacy that separation is pre-arranged by the parents, to enable them to enjoy a more conventional 2-parent model, (rather than because there's any reason to think it's best for the child, and it may in fact be less ideal for the child, not to mention the mother).

This is weird to me
A child needs a mothers love
Nothing else will ever come close to that

I think it's a great photo. Two people clearly overjoyed that their child has arrived into the world. Nothing wrong with that.
