Maybe look up whats new in the news regarding healthcare?, have a read of the NMC?, know the 6 Cs, show that youre enthusiastic about the course and careeer.
Oh and have a read through of your personal statement they may ask you questions about what you have mentioned so remember your input.

This is what ive been told by my college.
    Hope it helps..

I suggest going onto the royal college on nursing and do their hca test/ training. It's really long so you don't need to all of it in detail, but it generally contains everything you need a brief knowledge on from the 6c's to infection control and safeguarding. I had to do it as an exam for working in the hospital and it'll include a lot of things.
Get some understanding of common language under your belt in case they use any of it. As they may ask you something such as how would you make sure an individual's holistic needs are met, so knowing what the term holistic means.
And read up what's in the news cos they may ask you about it and it's makes you look far more interested and keen. Hope that helps x

What A levels are you doing? I'm doing health and social care, Philosophy and ethics, Drama and theatre studies and psychology, so I'm not sure if even applying to Kings is worth it because I haven't done a science. So nervous about it!

Branch: Adult Nursing (although I'm starting to lean towards child nursing.. Is that bad?)
Applying to: BCU, Kings, Coventry, York and Birmingham
I'm an A level student with A*ABC in EPQ, Biology, English and psychology respectively.
Work experience includes 3 weeks shadowing specialist nurses, 1 week with a practice nurse, 4 days at Guys hospital in London and also Evelina children's hospital. Also a volunteer at care home and a centre for dead-blind individuals

Hey, I'm applying for Kings, BCU and Coventry! Which one do you prefer as your first choice, I love Kings but I think I'm a bit too townie for London so I'm leaning towards BCU

I'm applying for Kings and I haven't done a science, I shouldn't worry to be honest (I'm doing Sociology, Psychology and Health and Social Care)
