Seems we still haven't matched the output of Parliament XIX

    Total for the 19th parliament

    Government: 43
    Liberal: 37
    Conservative: 36
    Ukip: 26
    Libertarian: 7
    Green: 6
    Socialist: 2
    Labour: 2

    As above then, 20,
    Ukip: 53
    Green: 16
    Government: 16
    Conservative: 10
    Labour: 8
    Socialist: 1

    22
    Ukip: 20
    Government: 19
    Green: 18
    Conservative: 13
    Socialist: 8
    Liberal: 3

You are making a logical phallacy here. Just because an item failing suggests that it is a bad idea or poor quality doesn't mean that an item passing suggests the converse is true.
Just because it irks me, it's fallacy. Your point's correct, though.

Fair enough, I thought your 1921 point was in reference to that committee, my mistake.

As for your second point, I wouldn't call it shelling off the empire, I would call it granting freedom and liberty and trying to right the wrongs of colonialism
I'm still waiting for the VoNC in Cameron so we can get a proper Tory at the head again from 1922

Creating the liberty and freedoms for the locals to **** everything up and go backwards.

Don't expect Aph to use correct spelling, don't even expect American English, and expect presidents rather than precedents.

I'm not sure if I'd be happy or worried to see Cameron go

And surely they should have the freedom to go in any which direction they want? That is the beauty of being a sovereign nation-state?

Well, it won't be long until you see him go because in certainly aren't going to win by enough to save him

Very worried. Boris as PM would be a disaster, worst Tory PM since Neville Chamberlain.

You never know, the MPs might go mad and put Gove on the ballot instead of Boris, and he's got the most support atm in a FPTP system, not that that's relevant.

Gove has no tact but he is capable of concentration and there are no vanity projects with him. You would disagree with him but not doubt his ability.

But he is also too disliked by the general population, and doesn't really seem to have the look or Charisma to be PM.

Good job we don't have this issue in TSR land having voted to remain in the EU by a comfortable majority.

So this (TSR) general election can be about other issues, such as housing, the environment, and education.

You'd hope that that would be the case, but most likely not

I've decided that as I'm fairly new here, I will refrain from standing this GE, as the couple of votes I may win will be wasted. I will instead endorse a party of my choice. Not that I have much influence, anyway...

Highly improbable, I wouldn't be surprised if it still revolved around Europe and Europe related issues.

The few votes you get will likely be enough for a seat, especially if turnout is as low as last election.

Would you have stood as an independent?

Saracen's Fez That is true but if the twentieth Parliament did not have UKIP in there would have been a 51% fall in items; members would have weakened the MHoC by quitting.
That is a fair point to make.

To say there would be no MHoC without UKIP is ridiculous and paints you in a really poor light.

If Cameron does go I still believe Crabb should replace him. He at least has a backstory that would allow him to communicate with normal people, not to mention the Welsh aspect and the effect it would have on Labour. There are plenty of people in Wales that would vote Tory if it meant a Welsh PM.

After Cameron went through so much effort to make the tories look lgbt friendly however do you think they will really kick that all to the curb and elect a massive homophobe as leader?

I don't a) think he'd behave like that in office (see Tim Farron) and b) think most Tories (or indeed most voters) have that as a high priority.
