Maybe the best thing about finishing your GCSEs is that, from now on, you get to study whatever you want.

No longer will you have to sit through lessons of subjects you hate, or revise folders full of stuff you can't stand.

But which is the GCSE you're most thrilled to never think of again?

MATHS- It gave me so much grief (although my Year 11 teacher was amazing) especially because I was bordering on an A for practically the whole year, yet rarely actually achieving it (and often by a very slim margin). We started the course in year 10 with a teacher who had no structure to his lessons and, ultimately, It just takes me ages to wrap my head around certain topics. I can do sums and "real-world" maths, it's topics like trigonometry and quadratics that I struggled with, which was frustrating. I ended up being tutored to try to push for the A and it gave me quite a lot of stress due to the added workload and my lack of confidence in the subject, so I will not miss the subject.

PHYSICS- There are things that I struggle to understand. There are things that take a long long time to understand. And then there is physics, most of which I will never understand. Seriously, it will not be missed, although my teachers were all lovely and I will miss them very much.

ENGLISH- I will miss English lessons very much. I love discussing books, plots, characters and I adore reading. However, I do not adore the work. My ideas never appear coherent and analytical on paper, no matter how hard I try, and the struggle to find the right points is very real, as is the nightmare of finding enough evidence to back it up and provide sufficient depth.
