Thrilled that I managed to get an A in Maths (248 UMS so I was cutting it fine!) because I thought that C1 and C2 went horrendously and left the exam hall in tears having cruised through Maths for the last 14 years of my life, or so. It was just such a shock to find Maths difficult for the first time and it shook me massively, but I'm so pleased I got the A and can happily drop the subject! Very proud. Pleased with my Politics and EngLit results (and General Studies haha, I have a clear talent for waffling!) but they were expected because the exams went very well - especially happy because Politics is still modular so its nice to have some UMS in the bank! (99 UMS in GOVP1 praise the Lord)
But then there's History. And I'm absolutely distraught because its the subject I love and the subject I want to do at uni and I honestly have no idea where I went wrong. At all. I thought both exams were absolutely fine. I just don't know what to do anymore because the subject I thought I was best at I turned out to be awful at, but I still adore it and its what I want to do. If anyone has any advice please please send it my way because I feel so lost and so confused.
    Future ambitions
History at Oxford but don't reckon that's going to happen with a C at AS. My GCSEs are good (10 A* 2 A) but I feel like this has kinda ruined my chances.

Do you think it's worth getting a remark for my RE papers (overall ums 158 (B) and 2 UMS off an A)

    Unit 1- 88 (A)
    Unit 2- 70 (B)

The rest of my subjects I got A's in and I am going to drop RE but I want to apply to LSE so it would be preferable to have 4a's.
    Thanks.
