I feel like I needed this! Thank you so much
No worries! Always keep your conviction, because, without it, you won't get anywhere, and you seem like a very determined person who knows what they want from life, so don't worry too much! As Ron said to Harry at the end of the Philosopher's Stone (loosely quoted), "Don't let the muggles get you down!" :P

Hi, looking for a bit of advice. I received my GCSE results last week. I gained a D in my additional science GCSE. When I contacted the school I was 8 marks off a C grade. School are not keen to put forward for a remark, as they say that this is too many marks away from a C. Has anyone got a remark with so many marks away in science and got a positive grade change? Many thanks

I have a question which is that I got In my AQA HIGHER SCA1HP and SCA2HP 223 in total so how many marks is that and how many do I need for a C? And I got 77 marks for the first paper which is (128 UMS) and 91 marks for the second paper which is 160 UMS but that adds up round 297? Why does it say 223?

Maths and psychology shocked me the most, i wasn't expecting myself to do so well, but then again maybe I should believe in myself and always ignore the mark schemes which i read after the exams and thought i had failed.

Now I am afraid about A levels, there's the real challenge, I want to go into Law and become a lawyer.

    My results:

English Language: Predicted C / Achieved C (Although if I had enough time to finish the whole paper I could probably get B)
    English Literature: Predicted C / Achieved C
    Maths: Predicted D / Achieved C
    Science Core: Predicted C / Achieved C
    Science Additional: Predicted C / Achieved D
    Technology: Predicted C / Achieved D
    History: Predicted C / Achieved D
ICT: Predicted B / Achieved B (I'm kinda disappointed... I wanted an A overall but the exam paper brought me down from A* in my coursework to a B in total.. The paper barely had any related hardware related questions... I am so into PC's and constructed my own at home..)
Art Graphics: Predicted A / Achieved A (Really happy with this. Although it would be great if I had it at an A*)

    Summary: 3 D's, 4 C's, 1 B and 1 A.

I got what I needed to do Graphics, Fine Art and ICT. And so could proceed to Sixth Form without any trouble! And for this I'm really happy and glad.

GCSE Results Day 2016: Post Your GCSE Results!

Hello everyone! It's time for you all doing GCSEs to get your results, I hope that you get the grades you want and deserve. We've set aside this thread so that you can post your predicted grades and your exam results. In the past few years on TSR these threads for A-level seem really popular, however I don't think GCSE students have had a thread to show the grades they've worked hard for, so now it's your turn!

Feel free to congratulate each other but we do have the official results day thread for you to use to discuss your results, how you're feeling in the run up to results day and on the day. When released, you can find out the grade boundaries for this years exam on the grade boundaries thread. If you want advice about your results then head over to the Didn't do as well as you hoped? thread. If you're thinking about a retake/remark, we have a thread on retake and remark information for you. If you have any further questions, please make a thread in the GCSE forum or post in one of the mentioned threads.

On behalf of the Community team and TSR support team, we wish you the best of luck in whatever results you attain!
