Also, if you do see this how do you all stay motivated to study?

if you put the word 'badass' in quotation marks in your essay then you should be okay.

Mixed feelings. The unseen poem was absolutely lovely (Snake Woman by Margaret Atwood) so I think I've nailed section A but for section B I was so prepared for 3 poems (ones that had never come up before) and none of them came up it was flipping Our Sharpeville which is honestly one of the worst poems ever. So I've probably messed up section B. I did manage to do 5PEE for section A and 3x2PEE for section B (as its comparing) so hopefully I've done enough.

    How did yours go?

Mine's a mixed feeling too - I liked the questions but English is so subjective and that's my worry. Also, my unseen poetry from Monday went horribly as the poems were difficult to interpret and talk about.

I'm sure you've done really well, if you liked the questions chances are you were able to answer them well (my prose questions were amazing). Yeah English is subjective but in past years people have got marks for the smallest of ideas so I wouldn't worry. And also what's done is done so there's no point in worrying about something you can't change (at least that what I'm telling myself...)

Aw thank you - and yes, hopefully I get a generous marker. I keep telling myself it won't change anything but every now and again I can't help dwelling on it

I'm just glad we have a week off now

Well yeah obviously a generous marker would be an added bonus

And same here it's so necessary - I'm exhausted!! I'm taking the whole of this weekend off to unwind (and celebrate my sisters birthday which was yesterday) so that I'm ready to crack on again on Monday. Hopefully by doing this it'll mean the cramming isn't quite so mental the night before each exam!

Don't worry about unseen poetry! When I did literature last year, I struggled and thought I messed up unseen poetry (On WJEC). However, that was the exam I got 100% UMS on. These examiners know you are working on the spot so they will mark positively as long as you've provided perceptive and engaging comments in your analysis. That exam managed to help me score the A* overall in literature. I'm sure you'll do amazing!

Is anyone else overwhelmingly tired? Like for me this holiday couldn't have come soon enough as I'm just so exhausted from revising daily and sitting exams daily...this probably isn't good is it?

Think I can get A's without revising much? I didn't revise at all for English Lang and got an A but I think that's just because I love story writing I'm thinking about History and am really unsure how to revise for it SO MUCH CONTENT...
