# Edexcel A2 C4 Mathematics June 2015 - Official Thread watch

1. What was question 5a???
2. Hey is there ecf in c4?
3. (Original post by pal891)
would c3 67/75 and c4 67/75 be enough for an A*?
I reckon for both exams that's borderline 90ums so possibly an A* but hard to tell
4. (Original post by 11234)
No it's 32In2^2 -32In2 +,12
I did not spot the different sign. You are correct.

These are all my solutions. sorry for the poor quality but should be still readable, should be -8ydy/dx for first line of Question 2
You seemed to use radians when you found the years. I got that but realized it wanted degrees?
27.1 years.

I lost a friend...
Have you tried looking somewhere along in the bitterness?
7. How many ums would 48 be?!!😭😭
8. (Original post by nbofni)
Yeah that is the right answer... I think?
If I recall correctly he has the second and 3rd sign wrong.
Should be 32(ln2)^2 -32ln2 + 12
9. Guys whats 60/75 A?
10. If I got 63 on this paper, and 70 on C3, would I have an A* overall

Probably
12. Do you know if there is error carried forwards in C4 ???

You've integrated a trig expression so have to use radians.

There is, but only for method marks. Accuracy marks will not be awarded.
15. you guys think UMS boundaries will be the same as June 13R paper? so :

A* A B C D E
65 59 47 41 37 27

Thanks You must have found this second nature to do lol
17. What do we think the boundaries will be? I think I got 56. Around that on C3 as well. That's my A goneeee unless the grade boundaries are very low. Mixed feelings :/
18. What do you reckon 56 & 65 will be? Those are my upper and lower limits as I cant remember alot of what I put haha
19. How I only got 55 is beyond me ffs.. and thats being generous

such a high UMS at AS and now looks like a B at A2 FFS

If I got a U in that exam , i would have still got a B overall.. ive ****ed my education up.. revising from easter is fkn bad idea
20. I have a few questions:

1) how many marks do I lose if I found K as 2 and continued so I got the area as half? Out of the total 8 marks of the question.

2) For the differential equation I found c correctly but at the end I couldn't get the final answer they wanted even doe part A was right. How many marks would I lose out of the 7?

3) for the years question how many marks do I lose if I did the question in degrees?

4) for the vector question how many marks do I get (if any) if I found the position vector of B for the shortest distance?

5) for the cone question, do you get one mark for writing V=pi integral of y2? Also due to a lack of time I went to write what I would do instead of doing it, but I wrote the radius will be 9 for the cone et and you do integral until 2 minus the volume of cone from Q to P?
