Just a quick question, does anyone remember me from the Year 11 thread? I only joined in November, and I think I made like, 4, maybe 5 posts in there? Wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, but it would be pretty cool if you did.

What type of film do you need? Not like genre, more like, simple plot, in-depth plot, a film with a good protagonist to write about, etc... What's the task?

The worst part for me is, there were some people I didn't even talk to like at all until the summer, and it just feels so annoying to get closer to people and knowing that come next, I'll probably stop seeing them and they'll move on to other things. But I guess it's just life ahaha.
I know exactly what you mean. I've known these people for five years and it feels like only now are we becoming really close but I guess it is life. But you don't have to lose contact with everyone.....I know it's not easy but you could stay in contact with some? You have to find the people worth the effort.... (sorry if this sounds preachy....I wasn't trying to...)

Pleased to meet you too, my good man.

Check here, here and here, for three massive posts full of recs that I made in an Indie reccing topic a few days ago. Check the full topic for other good stuff, but my posts are obviously the best.

I'm reading The Mortal Instruments right now as I wanted to delve into a fantasy novel. I haven't read one in so long. It's weird that the typical books I read normally are nothing like the genres I want to write.
Have you seen the movie to that its amazing!! Definitely go see it

    I aim to please.

I tend to look for it myself, rather than letting it get its way to me, if that makes sense? Like, I'll search websites that are home to millions of underground bands to find something I like, and usually those bands will be friends with other small bands. Also I'm in loads of groups on facebook that love to search for new underground music. Not your typical underground - as in stuff that is popular but doesn't get played on the radio, underground as in bands that have day jobs and play in pubs.

Kind of sad, but there you go.

I have two things to say/ask

    1) I still haven't gotten used to clicking on the Year 12 thread, I feel so old

    2) What is the best revision timetable app for the iPhone?

    You succeed,,,

That isn't sad at all. Wish I was dedicated enough to do that....I find unknown bands generally tend to have good music rather than a lot of the crap which is in the charts.....

Do you play/have a band of your own?
