    Reason why it's a set, and not a pair? My old speakers are a pair of Behringer MS16's and are stereo (i.e. 2.0). Power rating 16W.

    My new speakers are surround (i.e. 5.1 - 6 speakers in total). Power rating 500W.

    You'll definitely be able to hear them (the 5500s) throughout the whole house... or street
