Desktop usually, it's my personal one.

We have a family laptop, but I rarely ever touch it - unless I'm recording acoustic demos with my mate.

I will occasionally use the TSR App, but it's kind of annoying when I want to type a long reply.

Haha oh wow, I've done that before. As long as you got the insect then it's alright.

Yeah, and it sucks how you can't multi-quote. AND I only really properly use my phone in bed at night (like 1am - 5am) and this thread is the only one I look at all the time and nothing ever happens because everyone is a lightweight in this thread and goes to sleep. Or maybe I'm the weird one...

Your avatar looks like you tried to facepalm so hard your hand actually went through your head in disgust.

That is what it's meant to be.

The amount of times I've actually wanted to act out my avatar after reading some of the things I've seen on this website... Mainly when I want to try and be helpful in the GCSE forum, and all I see is "I got 8A*s and 1A, does that mean I've ruined every single possible chance of ever studying medicine in my life.. ever!?"

My parents don't like me going to bed late so I stay up on my phone, WIN, except it isn't very good for your health.

I need different ways to pass time when i have a lot of it...

Yeah, I look at those threads with similar contempt. Eventually I realised I was being a tad crass/flippant so I've just stopped looking at those kinds of threads now. xD

To be fair, that guy only 8 A*s out of 9, he probably wouldn't even get to London Met... .

Like, it's cool if you're concerned, and you have every right to be concerned, as it's hard course to get onto, but there's got to be at least more than one pop up every day.. It's starting to get a little bit tedious now... Especially when I want to help/get involved with something else like I said. :unimpressed:

Nah man, 1 A!? He's probably wasted his whole life away, might as well just quit while he's ahead.

    1A, 6B's, 1C, 1D, 1E... hmm haha, what were the C D and E in?

I might end up with roughly an A*, 4A's 3B's and 2C's, wish i could have my results now...

I plan on going to an ivy league level uni in America, I hope my GCSE's won't hold me back... xD

If i get that 1 A* I'm going to shove it up the head of Math at my school who said, in writing, i wasn't as good as i thought i was, dammit teachers y u ruin school?

Have you ever felt it a bit worrisome for those achieving high grades, of the ones that genuinely want to inquire whether or not they have a shot at medicine/law/Oxbridge/LSE with excellent grades at GCSE and/or A-level?

If you don't know that 8A* 1A at GCSE when you haven't begun AS yet, puts you in good stead for top universities... well, won't your university be looking for candidates with some more common sense?

    ^^^ That's what I mean when I said I was a little mean.

    The A was in Maths
    The C was in Physics
The D was in Leisure & Tourism
The E was in Food Tech

    What's an Ivy League Uni?

Haha, we finished our Maths course back in December, and we did some pretty hardcore revision all the way up to the exam. Towards the end of February, we got given practice papers to complete every fortnight, and over the next few months, we got maybe 9/10 papers? I didn't do a single one because I just couldn't be bothered and also because of how my exam timetable turned out to be, I had 3 weeks to prepare for just Maths anyway... Long story short, I got a *******ing week in week out for not doing these papers and I was told there was "no chance in hell" of me getting my target grade... But I got it. Would have done anything to be able to rub it in my teacher's face on results day. Unfortunately she wasn't there. :/

I know! It's so stupid, like I'm pretty sure they know they're fine, they just want to brag. It must be annoying for those who are genuinely unsure about what to do because of their results, just because their forum gets clogged up with ****.

There should just be one thread called the "Are My GCSEs Good Enough For Medicine" thread. Everyone goes in there to post their results, and someone can just sit in there and quote every post saying either yes or no. Problem solved.
