Except the prequel says it's the Doctor's child...I think the silence somehow got some time lord DNA (remember River in first episode talking about what lengths people would go to in order to get one cell etc) and Amy is just the surrogate
Spoiler:

Where does the prequel say that it's the Doctor's child? I got the impression that the blue man was more implying that the Doctor would be angry because they're stealing Amy's child.

Or how to figure out how to avoid his own death. :holmes:
or that.

but then if he finds out how to avoid his own death, then technically ep1 shouldn't have been done like that.
and there is a chance that even if he does try to avoid his own death, other factors will still cause it to happen [e.g. end of waters of mars, where tennant tries to change the past? I'm pretty sure it's waters of mars :s]

time travel is confusing.

But if the stomach pains were just the pregnancy thing, then why did River have them. Is she also a Ganger with that connection? Doubtful...
It'll probably be some Moffat mind****, like River IS Amy

I've watched it. It doesn't mention it being the Doctor's child.

Just makes a reference to do you know whose child you've taken, and then later about the Doctor's anger.
:pierre: I was totally going to post this.

Yes but that tied in with the fact that the girl regenerated suggests that it is the Doctor's child

Maybe that's what Moffat wants us to think?

I mean the companions of the Doctor are almost just as famous as him, really. I dunno.

This is Moffat, do you really think it's as simple as that? Given everything you've seen up until this point?

Amy being forcibly pregnant with the Doctor's child who then regenerates into someone else?

That would utterly damage Rory and Amy.
True, but maybe for once Moffat won't want to give me a headache...

Guuuuys, let's not forget that River also felt nauseous in The Impossible Astronaut.

How will that be explained?
apart from the theories that she was being checked too by the cloners.
unless that is the case :/

just realised someone already asked this, but the threads moving really quickly and I took ages writing this cause i got sidetracked getting confused about everything.

MIND BLOWN.

Moffatception :ninja:

Mind, there's something far more to that little fat blue man than just a trope 'dealer' character, I think.

Assuming, that is, that the little girl is Amy's child. I mean she probably is, they referred to it as a 'she' (I think in the prequel) but you never know.

Damnit, I wish we got to see some more of 'crazy' Jen. The eyes were pretty cool, IMO :teeth:

Though some of the effects were a bit dodgy :erm:

Headless monks. Do they have heads or not? Hmm :holmes:

There was a thing on Torchwood with the Monk figures with swords. Reminded me of them.
