Agreed, I think Liam made Spartacus his own in some ways, but Andy played a much darker, raw version. He was simply brilliant. RIP, Feel like I should just put this in now because I always enjoy watching it.

Honestly to me that show is just unparalleled, the level of acting and the dialogue was insane. Makes Game Of Thrones look weak.

    RIP

Just watched this again and it gave me chills again. My spine mayn.

I assume The Wire was number 1? GOAT.

Should be no. 1 mate!!! What's beating it? :unimpressed:

Yeah like I said the acting was just incredible, John Hannah take a bow. His presence was sorely missed in Season 2. Crassus filled the gaping void he left in Season 3 thankfully, just as remarkable. Simon Merrells take a bow too.

I've derailed this thread twice this week now.
Yep, The Wire is forever number 1 for me, legit the most incredible thing I've ever watched in my life

For me Stringer was my favorite with Omar a close 2nd, would loooooove a spin-off show about Michael though! Season 4 was legit my favorite

Many years ago when I was doing my A levels they showed two episodes each night from 12-2 I think and that is how I got into it.

I like series that are not allowed to kill off their characters. Usually I get annoyed when it feels arbitrary but with The Wire the fact it was arbitrary was party of the context.

To date I've watched Spartacus many times, I actually just have them in a folder and open up different episodes when the mood takes me.

I still haven't watched the wire, I couldn't get into it at the start and just forgot about it.

I've watched Spartacus twice but the first series probably three times.

The Wire is excellent but it does require investment. You have to accept that you will be giving up 4 or 5 hours as a buy in.

You're jealous because you know you aren't perfect😂 I don't want to know about you; why would I?😂
I don't believe your perfect. Since I think you could be insecure about your looks as you haven't posted a photo of yourself. 😂 I thought we hit it off rather well. 😛 Haha
