The sad thing is, I've actually grown really quickly over the past few years. And nope. Still tiny.
Oh wow, I'm so sorry for your loss(of height)

I can't walk in particularly high heels either... I've never bothered to try very much to be honest, I consider myself tall enough without them. I don't envy her the operations she'll need on her ankles later!
I can't walk in heels to save my life. I feel like I'm tall enough without but then if everyone else is wearing heels, I feel short.

That's true! I only wore small heels to prom and I was one of the shortest, which was bizarre.

    Good afternoon everyone!

I'm about a year older than you all (18) since I retook Year 12, but I shall be joining you all in the struggle of A2s come September!

Hoping to study Classics at uni. Still haven't finalised my list, but I've looked at just about everywhere. It's a genuine struggle trying to narrow it down; there's just too many places where I'd love to study.

I didn't even wear heels because I'd fallen down the stairs at school a few weeks beforehand and sprained my ankle and I was just there like "When did everyone get so tall?!"

Hi there! Good luck with your applications - I have a friend who wants to study Classics and French and she's been stressing over uni choices for months.

    Hi!

I know what you mean about struggling to narrow it down. I have loads of prospectuses and I think I'll be lucky if I can get it down to six or seven, never mind five.

I've got maybe six or seven that are the ones I'd REALLY like to go to, and I'd be happy at any one of those. But their entry requirements are for the most part either AAA or AAB, and though I'm confident I can achieve that, I do wonder if I should find somewhere that's a bit lower just in case everything goes down the toilet.

In case anyone's wondering, my top choices are mainly Durham, Bristol, St Andrews, King's College London and Newcastle. So if any of you are planning on one of those, there's a slim chance I could see you there!

I'm a Londoner. Croydon, to be precise. Dreadful town to be honest, most people probably only know it from the riots. I'm just biding my time until uni comes and I can finally leave the place!

Nope, happens to me too! The day before I was a bridesmaid for my cousin when I was 11 I fell over and grazed my whole face. I think I'm just very clumsy, haha

Most of mine are AAA or AAB as well so I'm trying to find somewhere lower as a back up. I'm applying to St Andrews and Newcastle as well but for history, so maybe I'll see you there! But also...

I'm from Durham but I live in Newcastle. So if anyone has any questions about these places, I'd be happy to answer them!

Your whole face? Ouch! I broke my wrist when I was 12 and had to try and look smart with a neon pink cast (it didn't work). One of my brothers has the family prize for most inconvenient injury though - he broke his elbow at my great grandmother's funeral.

Surprisingly, I've never broken a bone despite how clumsy I am. I'm sure your cast was very fetching though And wow, what a place to break on your body and what a place to get that injury.

Don't worry, they told me the same at the start of Year 12, I still act like I'm in Year 2!
