I'm applying for Physics with a year in Europe (4 year course). Some of my friends have already heard back about the interview date already which irritated me!
I got 11A*s and an A in FSMQ at GCSE
Then at AS my physics and chemistry were reformed so we sat internal exams maths and f. maths remained modular so I was able to sit those and got 684/700 UMS in C1, C2, C3, C4, M1, M2, FP1.

Anyone else in the same situation where they sat internal AS exams?

    A Level Predictions: A*A*A*A*

I know exactly what you mean. I sped through that Assumed Subject Knowledge Guide in 3 days straight because I didn't leave my seat for 8 hours (I can feel the pounds piling up). Literally did my first paper today

Well that's great I've been getting 9.0s since I was in the womb

On a serious note, that's reassuring! I honestly couldn't tell if the norm for Imperial was around 7 since admissions came across as quite insistent on a stellar BMAT score on the open pay. Fingers crossed that the rest of my application persuades them if I flop on Test Day
IKR, they were really pushing the BMAT on us in the open day. Application blah blah blah BMAT blah blah motivation blah blah BMAT blah blah blah BMAT

Did you take notes while revising the assumed knowledge guide?

Those grades are insane, go you! I'm applying for design engineering, only seen one other on here though.
I had internal exams for physics, art and further maths. All of mine have been reformed except maths.
Glad I'm not the only one in this stupid reformed system, I'm really nervous that I'll be at a disadvantage without a load of ASs and only predictions.

I'm applying for Theoretical Physics MSc. I got 5A* 5A 1B at GCSE and AAAA AS. Predicted A*A*A*A. I'm worried because alot of you applying for Physics already have your interviews and I havent heard anything regarding it from them. They emailed me asking for my UMS scores a few days after I applied. Can someone tell me what I should expect next? I'm an international applicant if that helps. Thanks in advance.

Maybe corporate trousers/skirt and a shirt? Maybe you should @ one of the current students who you can find a bit further up on this thread and ask them what they wore.

physicists, no need to bother to put a suit on, no one gives a **** about how you are dressed on our department

I don't remember seeing any girls at my interview date, haha. But be as formal as possible. There was not a single guy in my cohort not wearing a suit - when they say formal, they mean formal.
