I can't be going and allowing exceptions to the eligibility rule I'm afraid, in much the same way that if a 17-year-old turns up at a polling station and shows themselves to be very mature and politically informed then they still don't get given a ballot paper.
It's ok... will vote in the next one then

I thought you accepted some people via postal voting if they were under but quite clearly active on TSR and quite clearly not a dupe. A shame really. Looks like an amendment is needed because it's stupid if we're putting people that are clearly active off voting because their account isn't 3 months old.

I disagree. Voting in this has nothing to do with people getting involved in the MHoC. If they want to get involved, they still can...

Are we putting off 17 year olds from going into Politics by not allowing them to vote - hell no.

The real world is different to TSR though. On TSR, three months is a hell of a long time and could be the difference between people sticking around or leaving. If they've stuck around, they deserve a vote.

Cheers. I'll probably leave it until the start of term, but I'll PM you when I have something

Enjoyed that, though it's less applicable to this election. That said the right-wing independents and UKIP are testament to the fact that there's a serious battle of ideology here. I do hope the students of TSR pick the party of solidarity.

You know it's never good to insult 15-20% of the electorate right?

Your last manfiesto was an insult to 100% of the electorate, my comment was only an insult to you.

Well it's happened before. I'm not saying that it's a waste of time because they can't win, I'm saying it's a waste of time because they'll do absolutely nothing with the votes.

The fact that your "moderate" Labour Party voted down a truly moderate finance bill against the interests of the people is the only insult to the electorate here. We passed some good stuff, legislated for some good stuff and we still have more in the tank that we couldn't quite get out last term.

I tend not to like being called the worst, but it's better than most worst.

Rather, a finance bill which did literally nothing good and wasted tax money on an enormous subsidy to the rich?
