My principles are basically the complete opposite of yours haha.

I'm spending 42m on my defense/keeper with 33m on the midfield and 24.5m on strikers. You spent 28m in defense/keeper, 44m on midfield, 27 up front

Neville was classed as a defender last season, hence got a lot of points. He wont get many from midfield (no clean sheet bonus) as he's defensive.

Man City have a horrible start to the season (like the first 7+ games) so im avoiding their players for now.

Eissen is quite expensive isnt he? But he wont be scoring much or creating much.. so probably isnt a brilliant choice for a fantasy football game.

I think Essien's only 7.5m? Doesn't look too bad, especially considering he'll be playing almost every game, and he's not that defensive.

Having said that, he wouldn't get anywhere near my team

Well for 7.5mil you can probably get a regular at another team who's an attacking option.
Why pick a player who's going to get a lot of 2's and 3's when you can get another player who might get more 5's and 6's?

    Ok I've now got:

    Given
    Carragher, Ferdinand, Cole
    Barry, Young, Mikel, Kuyt
    Robinho, Rooney (c), Ebanks-Blake

    Subs: Sorensen, Berra, Foley, Mendy

I think Mikel is a weakness because of possible lack of games, but you name a better player for 5m!

well yeah, he's the best left back in the league, he started every game last year when he was fit. If anyone in the league is a lock for a starting place when fit it's Evra imo

So if I swap Ferdinand for evra, this will give me a spare half million, is it worth upgrading robinho. I'm quite fond of man city at the moment, so I might go for adebayor. (complete football amateur here obv)
