Would love to see a Utd team that plays a high pressing pressure game like Tottenham/Arsenal & Liverpool. Intricate passing and deadly team play.

A manager who has these qualities would be ideal. Simeone would be good.

    Loooool

One week of bad results and people are mentioning sackings.

I can remember a period from like 03-06 where watching United was nearly as bad as this! Does no-one remember this?

He dropped Terry who was far more important to his respective club but is too scared to drop Rooney

I have to say Mourinho is getting roasted more by fans than LvG did at the start of his reign

The problem is you look at this united team and we honestly have no idea how to win games we don't really have a "killer" style of play like say Arsenal etc.

We need to find a way of playing fast DIRECT attacking football but not being too vulnerable at the back...so many times you see Valencia or Herrera or Darmian with the ball and they are afraid to be direct and take people on...it honestly baffles me. You feel like just shouting and saying go on take em on.

The players that are actually good and make things happen are not scared of being direct at all e.g. Martial & Rashford.

José Mourinho at Chelsea obviously has a big influence on the big players of 2004 so it's easier for him to drop Terry or Lampard compared to AVB or Benitez who obviously were castigated for it.

He had also been at the club for a few seasons and clearly realised the Terry problem.

No source of iker doing **** except mourinho's conspiracy. Given how paranoid mou is, I wouldn't trust it.
Well he wasn't that bad the team were doing bad defensively because they have a pivot of Alonso and Khedira while having a winger who refuses to track back in Ronaldo. Problem with Mourinho is that he struggles to get a team working defensively without playing a defence oriented style of football. Second he tries to attack teams who sit deep he gets exposed(like watching the entirety of the 13/14 season at Chelsea), while Pep faces teams like that pretty much every game and generally wins those kinda games.

I think Mourinho pressed the self destruct button at Madrid and Chelsea anyway but he was right to use Diego Lopez over Casillas.

That's just for one game though? Most people want him dropped for a lengthy spell. BTW he wouldn't do that to terry if that was his first season working for Chelsea ever.

He also subbed him half time vs City last season.

Would like to see how we would do with a 4-1-2-3 formation with maybe something like this:

    Valencia - Smalling - Bailley - Shaw
    Carrick/Blind
    Herrera - Pogba
    Rashford - Zlatan - Martial

At least here we have Pogba who is now more advanced. Would be interesting I think but could backfire.
