Edexcel A2 C4 Mathematics June 2015 - Official Thread Watch

If I got 66 in c3 and 70 in this one, would that be enough for an A*. I'm thinking an A* in c3 will be 67 and c4 would be 68 so I think I might scrape it. Or am I deluded? :/

I hope so but do you think 65 in c4 will be enough for 85 UMS, need that to get A*
2. I Got about 70/75 in C3 and about 67/75 in C4, is that likely to be an A*?

My uni offer is AAA
If I get AA and a very high B, will they still accept me
I'm afraid you'll just have to find that out on results day. It could go either way.
4. are the model solutions out yet?

The way to get an idea is to see the % of people who get offers, the higher the % the more likely they'll accept you with lower grades.
Also I recommend going on unistats website and looking up your course and university and go to entry information. It'll tell you what UMS points people have gotten in with 😊
6. C3 66
C4 69
Rest of exams and these add up to more than 480 but will I get an A*?

7. hey guys, for question 2, I wrote the co-ordinates as decimals rather than fractions, Would i still get full 6 marks or will I lose 1?
8. (Original post by cmfunk)
are you sure?
I am no official authority, but I believe they do not add up to an A. Sorry. I am interested, however, on how the marks fluctuated so vastly; if you don't mind me asking.

Yeah I think 65 this year should be more than 85

Unlikely, added up to ~460 < 480, however what's your M1 marks?
Bare in mind that the last three are raw marks and not UMS? And probably about 67 raw for M1.

A* almost assuredly.
14. Could we maybe have a separate thread called 'Everyone posts all their marks from every A-Level Maths module they've ever done'? Because this is all I'm seeing at the moment.

depends which uni. It's the same dilemma for me i think i missed the A

Sorry, then yes, ~80% as both C3,4 are near/above A*
17. Predicted A boundary for c4
18. C1: 77
C2: 90
S1: 68
C3:54
C4: 60
So I need 71 UMS in S2 just for a B FFS!
19. can someone give arsey a god damn text
20. got like 92 in c3 and 82 in this, i ****ed up
