Same dilemma, stuck between LSE, UCL and Durham, mainly LSE and UCL with the London factor.
UCL seems a cosy law community and smaller group teaching while LSE seems to have a better international reputation and optional modules options from lots of its flagship courses.
Any thoughts from current law students?
That is exactly what I thought! One one hand I prefer the style of teaching at UCL and the law community seems more tight knit, but on the other LSE has a broader range of modules that you can specialise in from second year but may not be as sociable. Really not sure which one to choose- are you going to either uni's offer holders day?

The 15th of January is the official deadline for equal consideration - competitive unis will simply reject after this.
Well I sent my application off in November yet still waiting on Nottingham. So you're saying this is likely to be a rejection? Would be interested to know where this information you have ascertained comes from?

No - you do not get equal consideration if you applied after the 15th of January. You do get equal consideration if you applied before that but are still waiting for a reply.

Ok sorry to hijack a little. Since I was in a similar situation as you, I felt that I might be able to help you.

To start off, are you international or EU?

Edit: oops I tagged the wrong person pls ignore this!

Yeah the admissions tutor at Leeds said it's not too late and they take applications right up until July or something but I am still really worried.

I'm not even gonna bother at Leeds Beckett.

Have you guys visited LSE yet? (I know that UCL has had its Offer Holders days already)

The Offer Holders' Day at LSE may help you make up your mind

Ah ok! He/she might not be wrong but I'm not sure!

From what I know, SOME universities have a later deadline for international students. These universities include Oxbridge and London unis though. Durham's deadline is June for INTERNATIONAL students if I didn't remember wrongly. Maybe there's a later deadline for EU/international students for Leeds too!

Not necessarily! When and where did you apply? GCSEs? As grades and level predictions?

Although I'm still waiting for a reply from Edinburgh, what am I supposed to do about choosing a firm if the offers are all the same? I think I know where I want to go... But I'm not sure, there are so many things to keep in mind...

It's a graduate entry LLB Law degree, so instead of the normal 3 year undergrad course its a 2 year LLB course. AFAIK it looks the exact same on your CV after completing it.

I applied last week, to Leeds, Leeds Beckett, Birmingham, York and Edinburgh.

1 A*, 8 As and 2 Bs in GCSE, and ABB English, History and Music A levels. Predicted for a 2:1 after graduating from current degree (BA music).

So I reckon I have the academic credentials for law at Russel Group unis (I am at Leeds uni anyways right now) but yeah my application is quite late.

I would say academics wise your grades are fine for RG! It would depend on whether they still have places available!
It might be worth ringing those unis and asking them if they have places in clearing.. We have both applied to Birmingham! I got an offer in December..last Year and the year before they went into clearing for law as did Warwick, Manchester and even kings college briefly!
Your application was late I know but I still think you have q chance! And if you decide you don't like your unis or they say they haven't got places yet there is always clearing that does sometimes contain pretty good unis if you catch them quickly!

You're giving me way too much hope now. Like a tiny glimmer at the end of this nightmare tunnel and I want it to be true so badly. But thanks haha.

I'm hoping either Leeds (as I'm already here, it will be super convenient to just stay here) or Birmingham as my friend is going to be living a while in birmingham as well next year.
