So you'll hug everything? Your bed? Computer? Lamp? Fridge? I would do that too

What are you hoping for: ABB

What are you expecting: Honestly can't tell, I didn't have specific grades in my head when I did my exams, I just literally put so much effort into learning my subjects

How will you open them: Get envelope, open envelope, take out results

How will you celebrate / react: If I get an A in English Lit i'll find the teacher who said i'd fail it, laugh in her face and post her recorded apology on instagram/twitter. Then i'll party.

If I fail, then I fail and get over it, thats it really!

    Hoping for: AAB

    Expecting: BBB

I'll probably check track before I go into college to see if I've made my firm. It'll take me ages to pluck up the courage to open the envelope.

Like last year, there'll probably be a party for us all to celebrate/commiserate/get wasted.

I have no idea what to do on results morning, I don't know whether to check track first thing or wait until after I have my results, I also don't know whether to check 2/3 results online on the CCEA website at 7am or wait to get all of them at school at 9am

OCR physics was a bit grizzly this year. Next year's AS lot will look at them when revising and tremble with fear!

That aside though, I hope things have gone well, probably better than you think.
Just a bit? I would've had a better luck at those cooking shows, and I can't cook even if my life depended on it
I will be laughing so hard when I seem them trembling with fear when they will have those papers as mocks
I tried telling myself that, but my brain refuses to listen. Thanks though I hope yours will turn out well too.

    AS or A2 results?

    What are you hoping for?

    What are you expecting?

    How will you open them?

How will you celebrate / react?
    AS
    AAAA
    AAAB/C
Open them? Our school just hands them out, not even in an envelope
Depends, if they're good then life goes on, continue with current plans for unis...if not so good, then just drown my sorrows before deciding what to do with my life and why I didn't work more...

Why is it bad that you didn't cross out your plan:confused:
My teacher kept saying to make sure to cross out my essay plan. Apparently some examiners can be picky and mark it as apart of your essay. I don't really believe that, but I don't know what to think anymore.

Seems like most people are aiming for high grades. A sign of the times, grade inflation and dumbing down of exams at A level. There was a time when only the top 20% were awarded the A grade. Now it is 26%, which is not realistic. A grade A should be of such value that it is very tough to achieve, and thus allowing the top 25-30 unis to cherry pick the brightest kids.

More people are getting A grades as there's now an A* for those brightest kids to chase. I've also worked through past papers from 2004 in some subjects, including Physics and Further Maths, where questions in recent years have actually been made harder... alongside added convolution that is now often put in to test our apllication to unfamiliar scenarios.

Are you receiving any A Level results this year? It sure doesn't sound like it.

Hoping for BBC (late developer :P)

Expecting BCD - Will most likely retake the year, as I'm the youngest too.

I also have only just started studying (very big mistake I know)

    Subjects: Maths, Physics, Economics

How I will open them: Go in when no one is around, RUN home before any of my friends see me. Go home. Lock the door and open them *dies*
