    Both have:

    Inner and outer membrane
Inter membrane space- for proton gradient
    Chemiosmosis theory- happens in both
    Both have enzymes right?
Both lead to production of ATP
Both have Coenzymes even though different co-enzymes are used
    Thanks, rep to you

well, since the syllabus just says to 'evaluate the experimental evidence for the theory of chemiosmosis', they'll probably give us some data and stuff from an experiment and ask us what it suggest or what could cause the results and stuff like that. I could be completely wrong though.

i'm thinking theres gonna be quite a lot of the liver and photosynth are there was either none or little on the last paper. possibly some more on the kidney. thinking its unlikely to have anything on anaerobic as there was a 5 marker in Jan, and probs not a lot on synaptic cleft, but i dunno

Last minute eh? Too much anime :naughty:

1st messenger: chemical messanger that travels throughout the body

2nd messenger: chemical messenger that travels within the cell

Adrenaline binds to adrenaline receptors on cell

Activates enzyme adenyl cyclase by changing shape

Adenyl cyclase converts ATP to cyclic AMP

Cyclic AMP is the second messenger and causes an effect inside the cell

    Hmm

Adrenaline (acts as a first messenger)
Binds to receptors whom have an enzymes attached to them (Adenyl cyclase)
When it bind, it converts ATP to CAMP by the action of adenyl cyclase as it's activated
The CAMP formed, acts as the second messenger
the CAMP then causes changes inside the cell

I avoided this part because I thought it was about CAMP men :teehee:

seriously though, I badly procrastinated. I still have to solve at least one past paper.

I knew you would do this :facepalm2:

I just did the Jan paper again and marked and even though I felt more confident this was tough tough mark scheme. I mean, for one question it only accepts "greater" not "increased".

    I'm afraid anything is possible.
There was a photosynthesis experiment on the jan paper, perhaps making it less likely that there'll be another one this time round. But who knows, OCR are crazy
