I'm surprised that Jim's claims weren't grounds for writing off the sales. If I remember correctly, it's happened in one of the past series.

Perhaps they didn't do it because it would have been a 0-0 tiebreak.
That was different, that team had granted exclusivity to a tiny retailer on a product which wasn't theirs - they had no right whatsoever to do that.

Ah, now I remember.

Still stands they could have written them off again though. If this was supposed to be a simulation of a real pitch for a real product, well, say no more.

How did Zoe look on you're fired please?!
She had a massive messy bun on the side of her head, which was the first thing Dara commented on. Overly tanned and she actually smiled and laughed (amazingly).

Buyers don't fund that, buyers buy the product to sell in their stores, ad campaigns are up to the original company who made the product, the supposed ad campaigns were mentioned because they would encourage more sales and that is all the buyers are interested in.
Yeah, when I said 'they' I was talking about the team, purportedly a small start-up company. I know what buyers do.

I'm assuming the orders they place aren't real, but you don't really see contestants taking advantage of that to create completely unrealistic promises in order to sell the product...

I don't really see why people hated the way Zoe looked on You're Fired; I think she looked quite pretty, really. :dontknow:

They probably knew that many people would want to buy the biscuits anyway, because of the advertising they would get from the actual Apprentice show?

And they aren't selling the biscuits yet, Asda's website says: Lots of people have been asking if they can buy the winning team’s “Special Stars” biscuits at Asda. We’d love to be able to stock them for real – we’re just waiting to hear back from Lord Sugar!

I think Jim's jedi powers are only effective when he pitches to women, I've noticed. Everytime he pitches to men he gets trashed, everytime he ptiches to women he can put together as much BS as possible and yet get an order of 800,000 and win the task.

Does anyone know if there will be the ordinary interview elimantion process in this series? That made sense when the prize was a job position but I suppose it makes little sense now, which is a shame to be honest, I would have loved to see Jim in action there.

I didn't like Zoe much but I thought she was ok sometimes. It was sad to see that she had had cancer twice, but she certainly got back from it well

Last week:

Natasha's not got much about her,
Zoe's nice, just not quite Alpha,
Young Susan fits in a kiddy seat,
Cos her body's like her brain, petite,
Burning bright (tho not a-fired)
The Tiger's by the boss admired,
Award-winning and polyglot,
Her product-choices weren't so hot,
Parisians the Metro use,
To avoid the CARS along les rues!
No, pleasant, savvy, and a looker,
Tis Helen who'll ensnare Lord Sugar.

This week:

Mercurial Zoe takes the rap
When a cookie-concept turns out crap,
The other team's ideas were flawed,
But the end result we must applaud,
By the biccie-buyers preferred by far,
Helen bakes, and takes, the star.

Does anyone else think Helen looks like a celebrity?! It's bugging me SO MUCH. I keep thinking Natalie Portman but then I google her and can't find a picture similar to how Helen looks. So who is it?! Does anyone else think the same?
