Lol we've had 8 different tutors. Imagine us last year right .. It was year 7 induction day and we go to see our tutor with a new class through the window. We were sooo angry and upset... Quite upsetting. Perhaps he/she was too upset?

Just watching a bunch of videos, brooding, then doing my own annotations before brooding in despair again. I got 62/80 in my January paper...urgh. We also did the IGCSE paper because our year did so bad, as well as the retake! Any tips for handling time? That's my main problem, especially when it comes to the comparison
Ah im reading the poems. Lol dunno what else to do. Hate poetry.

    Time handling.. Yes!

15 minutes each on Q1, 2 and 3.... Of those 15 minutes... Perhaps 3 minutes reading and highlighting.

Question 4 - 30 minutes since you are dealing with comparison.

    Question 5 - 25 minutes
Question 6 - 35 minutes. This worked perfectly for me.

What A-levels go well with geography (mainly human)

    So far I have picked
    Geography
    Sociology
    French

I was considering english lit and maths but I don't really enjoy them and can't do sciences because I do BTEC Science (by force!). Is AS History do-able if you haven't done it for GCSE?

I have 4 exams left and it doesn't look like Year 11 are going on Study Leave, which is probably a good thing because people just wouldn't revise. Some people have 2 exams left.I finish on 21st June.

I think it is because when I went for my interview they told me I should do History and when I said no because I haven't done it as GCSE they said it didn't matter, but you'd probably have to check with wherever you're going.

Hmm I would be staying at my current school and the history department has a pretty good success rate (95% A*-B!!) I'll find out tomorrow

    Any savings?

Your best hope is to work your ass off for a scholarship or something. Otherwise, that 40k is near impossible to finance.

My investments stand at around >£20k worth, and I have a sizable savings account as well but all of that would be for Uni and initial life after graduation. I doubt I could afford £40k just for sixth form.
Yes but as you said those are for university expenses.

There aren't any scholarships left, so I'll have to hustle and call local oil companies to see if they can sponsor me. This is going to be a brutal couple of days.

Not bad! Is that mainly income from your parents business? Yep, the joys of boarding school yeesh.
