What is the E-Mail address to ask for Feedback? If it says I didn't meet entry requirements could this be because my UKCAT wasn't high enough?

I've been checking the KCL portal page approximately 5689380 times daily since my interview on 15th January, I have no idea how some of the December interviewees can stand this wait.
Hey! my interview was on 15th Jan too what time was yours??

    Hey guys, remember me?

I got rejected pre-interview the other day. My notification had a message saying "Whilst you met entry requirements...".
But when I asked for feedback (IT PAYS TO ASK FOR FEEDBACK) they said "you did not meet entry requirements"

Which was strange. I had a mistake with my predicted grades AABb which was then rectified by my college via email to AAAa as I should have gotten based on my moderated results.

It then struck me that King's totally ignored the email from my school. I later understood why - their policy states that any new info has to be submitted personally by the applicant! Googled " king's college medicine appeal", found it, and got cracking.

I then filed an appeal... and I got a really really prompt reply. It all happened in 3 days: I will be going up for an interview! (not sure about the date- they will contact me).

For the record, I'm international, 790 band 2.

Bottom line is, if you have a nagging feeling that something isn't right, that this shouldn't be the outcome, act on it! Ask for feedback. Send an appeal (especially if you meet the grounds for appeal). Sometimes it's good to let go and accept things. Sometimes you have to ask yourself if you've done everything humanly possible

    All the best!
Hi there! I have the same nagging feeling that something isn't right about my rejection too, would you mind please telling me how you went about contacting kings? did you email them?

I know, it's hard to stay positive, especially when people on here are getting offers after what seems like seconds when we've been waiting months, but we still have a really good chance
    You're right

    Hey!

I just joined TSR. Does any one know whether its still normal for me to be waiting for an interview invite? I'm an international and I don't know what to expect! I got 735 on the ukcat (I think) and I'm getting a bit worried. My stats otherwise are fine..
I wouldn't worry. I got 735 in the UKCAT and I had my interview y'day I'm sure they'll call you soon!

This series is awesome.. Like I watched season 3 last year ( I was npmassively addicted to it while doing dissertation lol lol lol ( made a mess of that ) but watched it with us people... I was gutted to hear they are holding back the release till they show the same series in uk .... ( hmmm ..... Made me feel slightly advantageous having seen it early and being a Brit and all lol )
I am not going to break the surprise but it is awesome .........

Ja, but portal updates before you get an email. There is about a 2 hour lag between portal updating and them emailing you about the change!! So there is method behind the medical school madness!!

    Posted from TSR Mobile
I never got any emails about portal update when I had an interview invitation.... it's very strange...

Starting to lose hope now for an interview I find it amazing just how competitive medicine really is.. Not trying to sound conceited but I'm pretty sure if I applied for almost anything else I would've gotten straight offers on the board. I'm one of the brightest in my school and its really a bit depressing when everyone is coming up to me with offers and offering me sympathy for not getting anything positive back yet..

My IB predicted grades are solid, my bmat and ukcat were both above average, and even though my personal statement undoubtedly does not seem as impressive as some of you on here that I have read of work experiences, I definitely did several things to show a level of empathy, dedication and passion. Despite this I've been rejected from 2/4 of the universities I applied to and am just hoping ucl or king's will at least give me an interview.

All frustration aside though, congrats to all of you that have gotten interviews and offers, I'm sure you deserve it. If I don't get an offer this year, I'll be back next year and the fierce competition I have experienced this year will hopefully be able to see me into a medical school next year.

Oh Daniel please dont lose hope!! Many of us here are post grade students. Some are even really mature students. I used to think i wasnt good enough but thats not the case. I honestly believe that if it wasnt for the competition, even a trained monkey can become a doctor! (hope no one takes that offensively) there is def still time for kings to give you an interview. Have faith. Worse case scenario apply again next year. Or the year after that. JUST DONT GIVE UP!! nontheless i really hope you get an interview soon *hugs*

About 90% of people who get into med get only 1 offer! Don't take it personally, just cos u get rejected doesn't mean you can't get in somewhere else! I got an offer, but been rejected from Sheffield before interview and Manchester after! And I'm a reapplicant, I got rejected from kings last year as well lol. Just never give up!!!

      Similar thing happened to me.

I received my rejection last night and the reason given was that I did not meet the academic entrance requirements. I clearly did bcoz I score 44 IB points.

      I'm international too btw!

      Posted from TSR Mobile
I didn't want to ask about your IB score coz it's a touchy topic for some... But 44 is awesome! Hope your appeal is successful!,
