Telling, well that is a good way to do it aswell. End up 1/cos2(x) or something.
Im asking is this your way?

no ...
I know 3 methods

multiply top and bottom by (1+sinx), simplify and split
little t identities/substitution
or trig identities and recognition

U gota admit the x=-u dummy varibale is nice tho.....
Oh and after getting two expression for the integrand. Add them then integrate a nice expression(i do end up mutiplying by 1-sinx tho 😉) divide by 2.

Was it? Which parts did you find hard (if you can remember)?
I don't remember. I was going for an A, and spent the entire week prior to M3 in no-life mode where all I did was work, eat, sleep and take short breaks. Then I go into that exam and I can't answer half the questions. It put me in such a **** mood after that I tried to exclude it from my mind so it doesn't screw up the rest of my exams.

Though, I remember there were two springs?

For 7b) if you only calculated x to be 1/2 and 2 how many marks would you loose? 2 or 3?

Someone please help! I'd be really grateful

They wanted integers, so 0.5 won't do. Your answer is correct so far however.

Replace 0.5 with 1/2 then use my previous post.
