Hi guys! I've applied for CU architecture and hasn't got a reply yet. Has anyone received offers or interviews from CU?
Did CU ask you to do the Task?

No, CU didn't ask me for it. I know that a girl in a local international school has got the Task about 2 weeks ago but she hears nothing since then. Do you mind telling me what your predicted grades are. I guess we still have the chance.

Are you doing GCE or IB?

Just out of interest, for CUHK Law applicants: is the reserve list letter the same as the rejection letter? Or are they two separate things?

Any replies would be great

thanks!

I'm not quite sure. I got a rejection letter. What does the reserve list letter say?
Does it say you will still be considered?

It was essentially a rejection letter because they stated that they will not be making an offer to me at this stage, but will be putting me on the reserve list should there be available spaces.

Was that the letter you got as well?

By my understanding, I think there is a subtle difference between rejection and wait list on their email.

I think I have a better question to ask. Who actually got an offer?

That is not a rejection because universities do have places even in September because some people would just give up their offers.

I only applied to HKU and HKUST in Hong Kong because CUHK is not as good as the universities in UK from which I have offers from )
My first choice on HKU is Accounting and Finance, second choice is Economics and Finance
E&F is so much better than A&F.

I really don't like HKU haha
But CU has a really good Business and Economics school...
My teachers said don't ever go to HKU or business because it's not as good as CU and HKUST... LOL

But HKU has the history and connections which is basically all that matters in the field of business.

CU is well-known of its (Enrichment) Maths, Physics, Biochemistry, Business, Pharmacy
HKU is well-known for medicine, law, architecture
Besides, those who did GCE or IB can classify as advanced students for CU that only have to do three years instead of four.
Would you mind telling me your predicted grades?

I've never heard of CUHK being known for any of that. HKUST is definitely the best business school by far.

I have heard people saying that CUHK is good for history, theoretical music, and theoretical social work.
