Has any of you; or do any of you know about any cases where a CIE re-mark has resulted in a grade change?

N.B: Almost everyone in my A Level Physics class got much lower grades than expected, so could there be some sort of clerical error with the way CIE marked exams from my school? Even an A* Physics student who is going to study Physics at University of Glasgow got a B in his CIE A Level Physics.

I'm going to apply for a remark on all of my As and A level results. How much am I expected to pay? Is it worth doing? What are the possibilities of grade increase?

CIE almost never increases a grade after a re-mark. Your re-marks will take about 3 weeks and will cost a hell of a lot of money

Do you have any idea, how much will it cost?

    Here:hello:

I did IGCSE Maths(0580) with CIE. Paper 22 was very easy but Paper 42 was probably the hardest CIE Maths paper I've done (although it was nothing compared to Further Pure Maths I did with Edexcel). Really really want an A*, otherwise I'd be really gutted since maths has always been my strongest subject.
I am a teacher of this syllabus and my students took this exam on Monday. They were rather upset when they left the exam and I have to agree this paper 4 was the worst I've ever seen. I will be writing to the exam board to complain about the difficulty of this paper. A couple of the questions were standard but there were far too many tricky elements to the others. This crushes people's confidence and can also affect the uptake of mathematics to A-Level. Can I ask which school or country you sat the exam in? We are in Rome. What did the other students in your class think? I would encourage your teacher to write to the exam board if all the students in your class had a similar experience.
