Obiejess has replaced Magnus Taylor as a Labour MP. That means that our MP lineup looks like this:

    RayApparently (L)
    The Legal Eagle (DL)
    O133 (C)
    aadam10
    InnerTemple
    Limitless21
    Obiejess

Given that i believe some in Labour opposed Scottish Independence, will TSR Labour be withdrawing from its alliance with the SDLP in NI.

TSR Labour doesn't have an alliance with the SDLP, nor is there a TSR SDLP, with TSR Labour representing all four constituent parts of the UK. Regarding the independence question, Scottish independence is not the same as Irish unification, so members (including myself) may feel differently about these two completely separate issues.

    Fair enough.

Do you yourself want Ireland back to make the British Isles whole again.

I'm fairly ambivalent to the Irish situation, but I probably lean slightly towards a united independent Ireland.

It is a great thing to stumble across isn't it?

We do have a variety of political views amongst our members, obviously we're all left-of-centre to some degree (probably slightly more so than the real-life party) but no two members are going to fell exactly the same way about everything.

I'll quote in our leader and he can add you into the party.

I was wondering, is TSR Labour anti-Success?

Also do you support Irish unification? :holmes:

    Within reason, no.

That depends on the member; I'm not sure we really have a party position. Myself, I'm not that bothered either way, but someone like TBM feels fairly strongly in favour.

Jeez, you're not actually going to make me use the phrase "responsible capitalism" are you.

Also do you support Irish unification? :holmes:
    Unification of two Republics perhaps.

I prefer British+Irish unification to unification of the two Irelands alone.

The meer fact you use the word capitalism rather than a pseudo socialist term like syndicalist is a comfort.

*shrug* I'm more fabian than trade-unionist, I believe in a world with corporations where those at the top don't earn hundreds of times more than they're employees and where there's a more equitable distribution of wealth overall. That doesn't, in my opinion, require bloody revolution and the abolition of money (at least not in my lifetime). Communism is an intellectual exercise, pragmatic socialism/social democracy is a solution to the nation's problems.

    :O

There was talk of a grand coalition a while back - surely even on TSR such insanity couldn't come to pass!

But more seriously, once we get over the religious differences and once the historical wounds heal then proper unification of British Isles is best for everyone. Controversial, but, imho, wholly true.

I actually think a Grand Coalition is significantly more like in real-life than on here - it might be my outside bet for the election

Interesting to see that position on the Irish Question, although would you not agree that getting over religious difference and such recent wounds healing is unlikely to happen in our lifetimes?

Why is London more suited than Dublin for governing Ireland?

Why does Dublin require a different education and health policy to London?

Economic devolution is great (tax and spend) but there's no need to be a different country to have that.
