You're a long way off a 'top, top side' though. Monaco wasn't that long ago, lads.

If Oliver was reffing that game in 2004 we would have gone 50 unbeaten. Ferdinand would have been sent off, as would Neville and Rooney would have got the yellow his diving deserved.

That refereeing performance has come 11 years too late...

How are we defining 'top, top sides' here though? I'm not necessarily arguing that Arsenal are, but all teams have bad results. Real Madrid lost 4-0 not so long ago for example.

We're not a long way off, granted that was a dire performance but we are reducing the frequency of those compared to a few years back. I'd say we're back to 2008ish levels, couple more signings and we might get back to the 1997-2006 levels.

Not really, they have the blueprints of a top side, limiting factor is the manager, I'd rate Arsenal's chances of winning the CL in the next few seasons over City that's for sure.

GK situation is fine, CB isn't that much of a problem if Gabriel proves himself, fullback situation when players are fit is good. I just see them lacking in DM, a WC winger to accompany Sanchez and a WC striker who's dependable in big games(Giroud's purple patch may be good but these statistics such as minutes per goal also make Papisse Cisse look like a world class striker).

Becoming one of my fave posters <3

Yeahhh I was pessimistic as **** but that was genuine, everything was against us going into this match. Was not confident at all. But I'm glad Arsenal delivered this evening and of course I bow my head in shame for not believing. Arsenal till I die.

I cried a little at the final whistle too, a cherished moment for sure.

Feel kind of sorry for Tottenham. Not a good time to play United at the weekend imo. And West Ham me next, tough one but should see it through.

Depends tbh. The United of old would have come out firing after a loss but im not sure what to expect from us anymore. Either have two outcomes. First outcome is the United team come out firing and hungry and respond in a positive way. Or the other outcome in which the United players feel sorry for themselves and put in a woeful performance. If that happens, then it'll start to feel like our season has ended as the players might begin to feel this.
