I shall never be content of the establishment elite government. The UK will only be liberated and restored to its former glory once this unrepresentative government is eliminated.
Great, an anarchist, somewhat ironic then to be leader of a party.

Some people really do see the Greens as a serious party. Of course, if they're to be more successful then some of their policies need to be toned down, so they really do need a sensible, pragmatic leader to oversee such changes - that person is Caroline Lucas.

I commend Natalie Bennett for her leadership of the Green Party. Although public speaking isn't really her thing, she did lead the party into electoral gains.
The Greens have never been a one person party. Caroline Lucas is focusing on her excellent work as an MP. Sian Berry would be a good choice in my view if she stands. Either of the two Deputy Leaders may stand.

I remember when I was naive in 05 and suggested the mother vote Green as a protest vote.

If only I'd known how socialist and sexist they were.

Sian could also be a great leader.

Didn't the Green Council in Brighton have one of the worst records for recycling? Or have I just made that up?

I remember reading that too. I think it was partly due to strikes by the people who take the recycling away.

Well, doesn't a lot of striking happen when those in power are sympathetic to striking and the workers know they can abuse this *cough* France

I've not thought of it that way before but I can see what you mean.

I believe it was a green minority council and LabCon teamed up to prevent the measures they wanted to implement to make them look bad. At least that's what I heard.

You don't have an arm or a leg to stand on ..... It's not offensive
Why would you stand on your arms?

I wonder if Caroline Lucas will become the next Green Leader when Natalie Bennett steps down in August.
Has to be. Probably the best MP in the commons and her party's best asset.

The Greens' political position is no more extreme than the Tories'.

Edit: also, going a few pages back, anything can be made fun of. Jokes are obviously not to be taken seriously. There is no such thing as 'something you just don't joke about'.

She claims that she gets to choose her nude scenes and supports it if it makes sense, not nudity for the sake of it. I thought it was CGI

The most epic thread i have ever seen on TSR was one in which for 12 hours people basically posted the most politically incorrect jokes they could think of. I was laughing for like an hour.

Darn mods decided it was offensive though and took it down.

In fairness i tend to agree with you guys (i used to love how cutting Mad Vlad would be to people when they were misbehaving) and would probably be on the stern end of things had i bothered to take up the role.

That said TSR is pretty politically correct and that can be a down side, especially when things are clearly jokes (i wonder how sensitive types react to things like South Park).
