My advice would be check the label- I don't count a wool-mix coat as being good unless it's at least 65% wool. Paying more doesn't always equal better, some of the ones in new look are actually very good quality and some of the ones in department stores etc are twice the price, half the wool content and you're paying for the label. I have 6 (accumulated over years-all very diff colours and styles) and they've ranged from £50-£150 (though one new look one was half price due to sisters staff discount! so was actually £30)

I'd try House of Frazer or Selfridges OP

Whats your budget? Because M&S suggests within £200 which is somewhat of a constraint

For £200ish I'd suggest Zara

This, on both counts.

Zara be better than M&S, but OP should state their budget, there's a big difference between what you can get if you're balla' or peasant status.
