I know this is a slightly old thread but it might help anyone who's thinking of getting this. It plays PES10 on high settings with minor lag, MW2 and COD4 work well on it as does GTA:VC, I haven't really tried anything else on it.

You want to get an ATi Radeon HD5650, Plays Dirt 2 at 1366x768, everything on High and 4x AA at 30fps. It's DX11 Too.

I've got this card and a desktop ATi 3650 256mb is better than this card in performance. I've tried MW2 and other sorts of games (MW2 seemed to run without lag on decent settings) and it ran them ok, other games like GTA IV have mega lag even on the lowest settings. It's not as good as you would expect, it's a lot worser.

oh, man 4570 sucks
the card would torture you, trust me
call of duties work fine on many cards, but if you come to other games, its a failure
and that 8400 sucks even more
but the 8600m gt ones on m1530 are fine, at least they render some pictures of the game for you

i also saw some talking about laptops not being suitable for gaming
i bought HP with a GF 9600M GT 512MB two years ago and ive played countless games on it since, and its fun
but of course you have to plug it to a proper (!) power source, or you'll be really disappointed

It's an old thread but thanks for telling me that because I wasn't sure if Black OPS would work on it. I've had the laptop for nearly a year now and it works fine but if I had the money I wouldn't mind getting a gaming laptop.
