There's probably a reason why they're homeless in the first place, to be brutally honest.
Agree. Unless there born homeless and stay that way until there adults then no, they should get help before becoming employed by people seeking to make money, who understand that a good workforce is imperative to a successful business.

I would have no issue with employing a homeless person IF they fulfilled all the employment criteria.

Not all homeless people are homeless through a fault of their own, but then, most are. Employment of a homeless person would be the same as the employment of anyone with a fixed address - based on character and quality, not 'walk of life'.

:dontknow: they shouldn't not employ people just because they're homeless.

Person becomes homeless (for whatever reason).

Person attempts to find job so they can pay for a place to live.

Person is turned down from job because they have no fixed address.

Surely people see a problem with this?

It's not the nicest-sounding way of putting it, but yes, few homeless people are in a state suited to abruptly being given a job by a business. If some businesses were to support shelters for homeless people, however, and use the opportunity to give them motivation for eventually seeking stable employment, then this would make an enormous deal of sense.
