I guess it won't be easy for anyone...they are probably revising "behind close doors" if they think meeting the conditions are easy.

Well the conditions are based on applicant suitability so it is still kinda fair :P

Thank you so much. I will try my best. My insurance choice in UCL. Is UCL as good as IMPERIAL COLLEGE? What do you think?
It's not, for sciences and engineering imperial is the best uni in UK, not counting oxbridge (for engineering its disputable, I know people who rejected cambridge EE offers and went for Imperial)

i'm also in this situation but i'm taking the German Abitur to get in to Maths.

I'm doing the STEP exams this year.
would a good grade kind of trade off my bad exam results??

or would there be no chance at all as the previous posts have stated???

you tell us! You're the negotiator

Truthfully it depends on whether the course is oversubscribed after results are out or not. If they are oversubscribed Imperial will do anything to cut it's numbers, and in this economic climate no university wants to be exceeding it's quota. To give an example, my course was oversubscribed by 30 places in the first year, after the second year we'd lost 30 people, a number of whom had high 2.1s on average but failed one module for various reasons. Imperial can be brutual at times, but they're looking for talent and ambition which you've shown through taking STEP. Best thing to do would be ring up the department / email them and ask if allowances can be made.
