I did french in year 10 and managed an A*
I'm now doing full course spanish after 6 months of teaching I have listening exam today :O

The best way to revise is learning vocab and doing past papers :cookie:
That's what we're doing aswell- Spanish this year and a different language next year.. I had listening and reading today :eek3:

Yep, I think so aswell, past papers are good

What board are you doing btw??

Well done.. I think it's easier learning another language if you already know one. Did you look at the site??
I had my test today by the way.. It went well, the test was the same as it was the previous years (but different content) and it wasn't too hard.. I found the listening harder aven though that was the one our teacher prepared us for.. I think I should still manage to get an A* looking at the grade boundaries from last year..

When's yours??
Thanks for the rep btw
I just had it today a found it hard
However quite a few people said so too...

So, what grade are you hoping to get?? Yeah, me too ( I already know two can understand and with a bit of effort talk and write in other two and spanish aswell but I'm not fluent in it though). That's quite a lot of languages, are you hoping to learn Cyrillic?? It's not too much if you're good at them though, I don't think.
A little quote I like: ''How many languages you know - that many times you are a person.''

Ideally, i'm hoping for an A* to match up to my french grade- my coursework is an A* and my teacher said my speaking exam was, so fingers crossed. That's a great quote, i'll have to use that at some time in the future How about you, what grade would you hope to get?

I'm hoping for a career in languages- as an interpreter or perhaps even working in the UN!:woo:

Me too... My coursework was 112/120=A* and my teacher said that if I don't get an A in my speaking exam, so I should get an A* overall as I calculated that I can lose around 10 marks on listening and reading to be able to still get an A*. hehe I think so aswell, it's a quote from the czech.
Oh yeah, that'd be great

I've been getting some good marks in past papers, so I'm hoping it goes ok.
Not too sure about writing though. I'm awful at grammar, so I think I'll just learn my oral.
