I've always liked this Aussie band called Bluejuice. Completely unheard of in the UK, have a small cult aussie following though. Skip to 1 minute in for the actual song

Papa Le Gal (tropical rock) are incredibly popular in Dorset/Devon, don't think they've been signed.

Also, Cryostorm (melodic death metal) if that's the kind of stuff you're into.

They're both bands with people I work with at home in.

I saw fun. play with BOB and Paramore and I really loved them. Its not the type of music I'm into but its nice and chilled and relaxing also Orianthi who's big in America but not over here I love her guitar solos in her songs and like mentioned she's well known in the states just wish she'd catch on over here

Idiot Glee (20 something year old American guy), was listening to some of his material on bbc Radio 1 at like 3am yesterday and wow is he good, really talented and so new he hasn't actually got an album out yet, he said it's out in April next year so I'm expecting a lot

He probably has stuff online though, he sounds like a really classical jazz singer in a way, his voice is really strong and distinct, reminded me of Frank Sinatra tbh. This guy is promising

Don't care who gets big at all any more.

The more mainstream bands become these days, the more the essence of the musician is taken away in favour of processed betas and autotune which makes it just sound like a pile of w*nk.

I knew about B.O.B long before he became famous - now he's resorted to garbage music, it's a shame considering his mixtapes had such high potential

Aww if you ever get the chance to I would recommend you go see them they're just so full of energy and they done a cover of Queens Radio Ga Ga which was just brilliant!!! The lead singer reminds me of a cross between Freddie Mercury and Jake from the Scissor Sisters haha.

We saw them play at Paramore and they were by far the best act there that night, BOB was good but this stupid hardcore raver in front of me tried to start a mosh pit by jumping into some poor girl which kind of spoilt it and Paramore were just dreadful we left after half an hour of them coming on stage.

Yeah definitely! Just waiting for them to release some dates/gigs near me

The other band i mentioned (fenech soler) I found out yesterday are actually releasing tickets tomorrow, so maybe there'll be some strange coincidence and fun. will do some dates too! haha

Personally I'm not really a massive fun of mosh pits, in fact i hate them, and for the people that say that's what live music is about? **** you

Well they're not really unknown because they have a fanbase in the US but:

Jasmine V, she's signed to Sony Epic and is gorgeous.
    Khalil, signed to Island DefJam.
Diggy Simmons, his dad is Rev Run, lol and he's signed to Atlantic Records.
Lil Twist, not really that big but people know him, he's signed to Young Money.
    Jessica Jarrell.
    Keke Palmer.

Jessica and Jasmine have both toured with Justin Bieber. :awesome:
You obviously won't like these people if you're not into R&B and Rap, sorry. (:

    Foxy Shazam!
They're not really *unknown*, but they don't seem to be that well known in the UK (even though they've recently been getting a bit of airplay on Kerrang radio)...put it this way, I went to see them in Birmingham about a month ago, and I counted roughly 44 people in the audience!

Lead singer Eric Nally is so smooth and the keyboard player is mental...but amazing!
