    PWC every time.
    I'd beg to differ.

My initial post was made in jest :-)

Having worked at one of them for 2.5 years and met dozens of people employed by the Big4 (and the likes of Grant Thornton and BDO...), i firmly believe that there is no difference as far as the average graduate trainee is concerned. All will offer great training, experience, culture and opportunities. What differences there are, are small...other than new developments like these custom degrees.

I've often wondered how they'd take that as an answer to " Why do you want to work for us?" ... "I don't, i want to work at any top accountancy firm" - because, truthfully, what is the difference? 10,000 UK employees vs 8000? Client X rather than client Y? Logo?

If you're into the details, look at whether overtime is paid and how many resit attempts you get etc. That should matter far more than firm X or Y. There are few better launching points for a business/finance career than Big4 and friends.

    E&Y, sorry to hijack. I wasn't one of yours...i balls'd up your numerical :-)

Hi! I would like to ask if there are Insight Days for pre-University students (well at the moment I am but will be at Univ this coming September)?

Haha, did anyone seriously try it?
EY doesn't ask that question. Or at least, they didn't ask me or any applicant I know.

Hi there, I’m Steve and I look after the marketing for Ernst & Young’s Fast Track programmes which includes the Ernst & Young Degree at Lancaster University’s Management School. I will be online throughout the week commencing 6th December 2010. Feel free to message me if you’d like to know more about our programmes.
Hi I was wondering how many students are accepted per year for this Ernst & Young programme per year? And roughly when will the assessment programme be held?
