I just joined IB and i want to pursue engineering.
My HLs are Math Physics and Chemistry\and my SLs are SpanishB EnglishA1 and History.

i want to drop history but im not sure whether i should take economics or business.
I heard business is a soft subject but i can easily get a 6 or 7. But do universities prefer economics over business? And also im not 100% sure of doing engineering so shud i take economics Sl as backup? or will it not make a difference to universities if i take business?

You will find economics easy. For engineering, they will not care between economics and business, but in general economics will be seen as "better".
