Don't agree with the raise in tuition fees and I cannot stand vandalism. Protest in peace don't vandal or cause trouble how else will we get our views heard.

Well what are people SUPPOSED to do?? Yes, protests cause inconvenience, but it can't be any other way. A COMPLETELY peaceful protest would gain no media attention whatsoever. A violent protest gets media attention but everyone gets looked down upon, and the media just labels everyone as anarchists. Surely occupation, blockades, etc (not smashing things up though) are the only method?
Yeah of course, we all get that point but basically. Not attack the police at any chance and destroy public and commercial buildings for no reason, tescos? Really? and not vandalise monuments, memorials etc just because they're in your vicinity. That's straight up hooliganism and twerp behaviour

Fair enough, controversy, maybe violence is needed to make headlines and to get attention but they don't need to just run around and be anti-social

well done, The lib dems are definetely going to increase tuition fees now, figuring that future university students will need even better education as they can clearly see so many of them are complete morons nowadays and some of the most the violent and immature ones not getting the point seem to be the future students, go figure
That paragraph contains a lot of poor logic.

That's what they do in France - no violence, just be as disruptive as you possibly can. It usually works pretty well. Some students have been catching on to this though, but they seem to think it's a good idea to occupy libraries/facs etc. which just pisses off other students instead of the actual government.

After looking at that video, it seems clear that the protestors could do with some better tactics. Something to scare away the horse charges, and anti-kettling movement to stop the police from blocking everyone in. They could do with rudimentary gas masks and some sort of protective gear too. Not too expensive, just enough to make police action less effective next time.

These protests are getting really boring now. Rather than trashing the city at the taxpayers expense why don't they just protest loudly, but peacefully outside parliment? Clearly they're lefty loonies who have got a taste of anarchism and just want MOAR. They don't actually care about the issue at hand at all
    protesting loudly does nothing.

you either need assaulted/killed by the army or police while being peaceful,
or you need to be violent or you can be very obstructive also resulting in being assaulted by the police.

Let a small minority be your generalisation of a protest. I condemn all violence but this doesn't mean forget about a just-cause.
