If he told me that he was going to a strip club, I'd be fine with it.

Nope. I wouldnt like it. What woman would be totally happy with another woman shoving her arse in her boyfriend's face?
The kind of woman who isn't over zealous and wanting to control their man to point where you take away what makes him a man.

I wouldn't exactly be happy about it, but I wouldn't be bothered by it either, or ask him not to go. It's his life.
Think of it like real-life porn.

Wouldn't really bother me. Trust him enough to know it would never be more than a bit of entertainment.

My boyfriend asked me if I would care if he ever went to one. I said it might bother me a little if I'm honest.

He then told me I wasn't his wife, and therefore I have no say whatsoever.
To which I hope you replied "Dont ask for my opinion then".

One of my exes wanted us to go to a strip club together, never had the free time, though.

That said, I've no idea what her opinion would've been if I had gone without her.

Wouldn't be at all happy, but that would come down to insecurities beyond jealousy.

If told me and let me know then yeah I would be alright with it. And as long as he doesn't get off with one of them.

I've actually approached my boyfriend about going to a strip club. It was originally a plan between my flatmates and I because us girls were curious as to what the fuss is all about. I have no problem with the idea whatsoever though. I trust him and so long as I was told beforehand and he doesn't frequent them all the time, then it's all good by me.

Id be pretty surprised since he tends to stick to student clubs and places that are cheaper!

    went to strip clubs?

my boyfriend is going on a "lads only" weekend away in a fortnight for a friends birthday, and as far as i'm aware, there wont be any sight-seeing on the agenda - the main activity will involve heavy drinking and strip clubs.

he's been completely honest and open with the fact that he's going to these strip joints, which i appreciate, but i still hate the idea of him sitting there watching naked girls writhing about on stage.

i definitely wouldn't even think about forbidding him or anything, i mean i'm not the boss of him and i trust him, but i just really hate the idea of it. what do you people think?
You aren't pleased with the idea of it but appreciate that he has been honest.

You trust him and understand that you can't stop him from doing this. Besides it's not unreasonable for him to go. He isn't going out of his way to upset you. He's going to enjoy a friend's birthday celebration.

It seems you are quite level headed. It's important you get to say how you feel but once you have said it leave it at that. If he asks you about it, tell him but you don't need to go on about it, it will blow it out of proportion.

Try plan something for yourself on that weekend, even if its just to watch a film. Being bored/having nothing to do will allow you time to over think it.

I wouldn't be happy about it, but I would be pleased that he told me, and from this, I knew that it was all innocent (well, as what it can be :p:), and I totally trust him, so I wouldn't think about it too much. I'd just tease him mercilessly about it afterwards

He sounds like someone you can trust if he told you outright,
I'd trust him if I were you.

Sometimes going to strip clubs isn't about perving on girls, its about lads all doing lads things with other lads.
I'd say if its for a birthday/stag do its Ok, but I wouldn't want my boyfriend be a regular at a strip club really, it just seems quite creepy as a hobby.

What a ****. Upon reading the OP I thought "immature" about the type of person who would want to do it, this just confirmed it.
