    Of course not, but I think voting for it is a good way to show that I want a change from the current system. Not to mention that I would prefer the AV system to FPTP, as in my view it allows each vote to count for more, and also results in far fewer wasted votes.

    I don't think it does any of those personally, and you run the risk of leaving the country stranded with a system which is potentially worse. If anything AV shows a specific preference for something fundamentally not PR.

    I'd rather have a system similar to the Scottish Parliament. Have 400 MPs in usual constituencies, and 200 voted from a list.

    I think coalition governments vs. single party governments are an either/or situation. Both have positives and negatives.
